I was slightly upset that this movie was so underrated at the 08 Oscars cos the set and costuming were stunning. I agree that this sequence was stunning.  In all the movies I’ve seen, I’ve never seen a sequence quite like this.  The images were just haunting. this sequence alone, no joke, made me want to add a film major halfway through college. that’s how awestruck i was. fuck the academy, they rarely get things right.  i wanna see this movie again.
